I guess it is up to the President,PM,home minister and Lt.Governor of Delhi to act on his pardon as they deem neccesary. Out of curiosity, I thought only the President can pardon, so why is the letter addressed to others.
Also should the authorities take the impact of his action into consideration. Unfortunately you also accused him, that is not fair on your part.

Going by your own ideology, please post a news article or a blog to pardon Modi-ji and ask other people also to pardon him.

Why I think Modi-ji should be pardoned by secular media and ex-congress people like yourself -
1. He is not held guilty by any law in India
2. He has suffered a lot in these 10 years, he couldn't go to US/Europe
3. His carrier went down and he had to work hard to revive it
4. He spread message of shri Vivekananda and shri Vallabh Bhai Patel
5. There are lot of eminent lawyers, cricketers, film stars, business men who support him
6. His way of repenting is a bit different, you can observe that there is not a single incident of communal violence after 2002, even though Gujarat always was a communally sensitive state.Paranoidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04037346880318111931noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1720071062570496465.post-46427422533956963082013-04-15T11:56:34.168+05:302013-04-15T11:56:34.168+05:30I would suggest everyone to atleast read about the...I would suggest everyone to atleast read about the case before concluding whether Bhullar should be hanged.
Prosecution examined more than 300 witnesses and not a single one could provide evidence that Bhullar was responsible for the blasts.
Investigating officer caught hold of Bhullar at Delhi's airport and forcefully (as you can imagine how police does it) took the confessional statement. Apparently Delhi police advised Bhullar to accept the blame else he would be killed in fake encounter in which Punjab Police officers secured PhD with distinction.

I am strictly against terrorists but I also believe that one should not be labelled terrorist just because certain police officers wanted to achieve rewards and recognition for catching a terrorist who might be an innocent person.Warrior In and OUThttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11277983199213130537noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1720071062570496465.post-44953028889676228222013-04-15T08:21:24.333+05:302013-04-15T08:21:24.333+05:30I think that Bhullar's should be pardoned not ...I think that Bhullar's should be pardoned not to stop the sense of alienation in a particular community but on the merits of the case. I agree with Justice Katju that the majority decision of the SC is flawed therefore the dissenting judgment should prevail in this case. In any case, I strongly oppose the death penalty unless it is unanimously confirmed by minimum of 5 judges of the SC. Where there is a lack of unanimity the death penalty must not be imposed. As a Judge you have served this country for ...Sir,

As a Judge you have served this country for a long and in this period of your serving to the nation you had delivered some very important judgements too but here i have different view. As per the constitution President of India has the pardon powers under Article 72 and i totally agree that there is no specified limit of mercy petitions in the constitution but with due respect would like to share that the The President of India enjoys Judicial Immunity which includes the below points (As per WikiPedia):

1) No criminal proceedings can be initiated against him or her during a term in office.
2) He or she is not answerable for the exercise of his or her duties.

Sir in my view, if we do submit a second or more mercy petitions in case which has been already decided by the President then by submitting a new mercy petition again ain't we questioning the decision that had been taken by the President while disposing the mercy petition earlier, for which The President is not answerable.

Would like to know your view on this.

Thanks & With Regards,
Anindo Tomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03109857583408883494noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1720071062570496465.post-85521964434841213572013-04-14T08:27:21.885+05:302013-04-14T08:27:21.885+05:30This comment has been removed by the author.Tomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03109857583408883494noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1720071062570496465.post-40750885909358491482013-04-14T01:47:07.646+05:302013-04-14T01:47:07.646+05:30@Aam aadmi
