My 12 questions to Karunanidhi:

It is reported in the press that Mr. Karunanidhi has stated that my allegations against him ( regarding supporting a corrupt Judge of Madras High Court) are ' blatant lies'. it is also reported that he has written to the Vice President of India seeking my removal as Chairman Press Council of India.

Since Mr. Karunanidhi has chosen to attack me I demand that he first disclose:-

1) His entire movable and immovable assets including bank balances, any foreign account holdings and assets in foreign countries.

2) What are his assets before joining politics and what is it today?

3) What are the movable and immovable assets of each of his two wives?

4) what are the assets movable and immovable of each of his children i.e. M.K. Muthu, M.K. Alagiri, M.K. Stalin and Kanimozhi?

5) What are the assets of the spouses of each of his children?

6) What are the assets movable and immovable of each of his grandchildren?

7) What are the assets movable and immovable of each of the maran brothers?

8) What are the movable and immovable assets of the spouses of the maran brothers?

9) What are the assets movable and immovable of the children of the maran brothers ?

10) In which companies do your family members, including your wives, children, children's spouses, your grand children, grandchildren spouses, own shares?

11) In which companies do the maran brothers, their spouses and their children own shares?

12) What is the market value of the aforementioned shares of yourself, your family members, maran brothers and their family members?

Let Mr. Karunanidhi first answer these questions which I have posed to him before making any unsolicited comments against me.

    3. Shut up Mr. Anonymous. Politicians love cowards like you, who don't want to put up a fight against them, with a name tag. Christians and Muslims believe more in 10 commandments when there was name tag, Abraham who bought that to the world with his name. Writing a name in front of you, was an method that exists thousands of years from ancient Greeks, Egyptians to Ashokas.

  7. Sir,
Karunanidhi Esq will most likely not answer you being tone deaf to searching questions as is the wont of most politicians. He is a symptom of all things wrong with our country. A bigoted, corrupt, polygamous man with one foot in the grave still hankers after power and influences public debate.

A bigger hypocrite never existed - he fasted between breakfast and lunch for the Sri Lankan cause trivialising the issue.

    1. You are right Mr. Prasad. Even most educated people don't know the authentic definition of Democracy. Thomas Jefferson's democracy can't cure or method for all parts of the world. He wrote declaration for their Civilization. Gandhi, Nehru and few riches back then went to England and learned theoretical knowledge of Democracy. Had Churchill not lost the 1945 parliamentary elections in London, things would have gone better for India. But, Mr Clement Attlee, in 1945 who became Prime Minister for England was another personality like Mr. Karunanidhi, who decided to wash his hands off of 250 Million people of India, cared less for the India, in 1946, within an year after becoming PM, declared to free India. That was fate and curse for India. This authentic history never told in Indian schools.

  8. I never expected this kind of status from a retired supreme court judge. Will you please let me know any other honest politician in this country.I am not a supporter of karunanidhi. But by writing like this you have reduced your level to a third rated street speaker.

    1. No, Mr Rengasamy Perumal. Ego, as explained as property of the fallen angels in Christianity, if removed from you, you would not see anything wrong in his writing. The so called level or status from your words, is not demonic nor divinely. Lord Krishna says in Geeta, that ignorance and illusion are not same.

  9. Mr.Sengaiyan,.
The problem with Justice katju is,
1)He never complaint about the DMK party which has pressurised the judiciary during UPA rule.
2)Today also he has leveled charges against 5 Allahabad judges without naming them..But in the case of a judge of the Madras High court , he has mentioned the name of a Judge who died .
3)Without taking not even a minimum required action during his tenure as a Supreme court judge, now he have started criticising the entire Indian judiciary
    4) He must have told the truth immediately after retirement or atleast before UPA government apppointed him as Press council of India Chairman..

    1. Mr. Rengasamy Perumal, Mr Katju has seen the corruptions in Judiciary. He failed to disclose or act at the right time. That's your position, right?. Now, I ask you one thing. You mean to say, Mr Katju stay home and don't disclose anything today.? If so, what good that will do for the country? Are we not trying scoring brownie points? I would say he has done within the ambit of Law by writing to the CJI, officially. We should applaud him just for what he has done. Attempting to defame Mr. Katju and disregard his claims, just because his disclosures are 2-3 years delayed, are as bad as the corruption itself!

    2. Mr Rengasamy Perumal,

Such opinions like yours would not be entertained by Justice Katju. The administrator might remove it. I have seen that inconvenient comments are removed. So much for Mr Katjus democratic credentials. You are right he stayed mute when wielding power and now after these many years throws allegations. Why did he stay mute? Will he answer?

  10. Why are you making personal allegation against one particular Politician individually. What about other Politicians in India ?

    1. Mr Venkat, we should welcome him for courageous attacks on one politician. Right? First, let us start with one politician and bring a lawful remedy. Don't spoil even the starting point by accusing him of not blaming other politicians. We have to argue and debate about the core issue at hand. Dismissive laughing at Mr Katju, is for what? You want to score a brownie point? This is exactly the issue of citizens, we blame everyone ourselves for everything and don't cooperate to nail a politician. Politicians are taking advantage of this.

  11. That Indian democracy is a failure a sham is well established by the fact that we have fellows like Karunanidhi and Lalu Prasad for instance, wanton in their conduct.

  12. These questions are irrelevant to the allegation you have made. It is for you to substantiate your allegation against Karunanidhi by stating facts in a meaningful way. The allegation has nothing to do with your background or that of Karunanidhi. The allegation needs to be substantiated. I hope you will do that. It will enhance your reputation as an upright person.

  13. Karunanidhi is an example ,one of the many powerful politicians who could use the Indian legal system and democracy to remain untouched despite the massive scale of wealth he and his family acquired over the years through murky means.
What happened to the Sarkaria commission of the 70's who found him guilty of corruption ?

    1. The Constitution of Republic of India has some major inherent flaws that none of the political parties wants to address.
      1. Political Organization is fundamental to Democracy. How come the Constitution or a Law do not exist, to regulate political parties. For example, DMK is not a political party. It has become an asset or wealth to a single family. Why would a party, allowed to form under the constitution 19.2.a, be allowed at the same time to be an asset to a few people. Isn't this mind boggling to note that the Party's ownership should have been vested to the citizens of the Democracy, the Democracy it serves. The irony of few Nehru's and Gandhi's theoretical learning of Democracy - I call it that way, had left the country's affairs controlled by certain autocratic and dictator leaders for nearly half a century!. And yet people could not do much, except some protests like New Delhi's one apparently for emotional reasons.
      2. The Election process is completely flawed. People don't choice to elect representatives in different elections for different government functions. Citizens should have been given to elect the Executive branch direclty for a country like India, when most are illiterates to start with in 1951. Legistlative government is not elected by Citizens. After the MLA and MP elections, its the power such Legistlators who should have guided the nation by writing perfect Laws. But, instead the Party Leadership hijacked all the MPs and MLA for Executive part of the Government, who were truly elected to writes Laws.
      3. Now, the Govt had acquired more machine power including mass destruction weapons etc. What happens if a Dictator, like some from south India, becomes the Prime Minister in the course time in the next 100 years!.

  14. Mr Katju, your views on this please.:: My observation. There is an inherent flaw in the Constitutional setup for States. There is only one election which determines the Legislative branch and Executive Branch. A party or a coalition who forms the Government at state also controls the Legislative assembly. There is this Checks and Balances are missing, politicians have used this nexus for their benefit all these 60+ years. Don't we need to re-visit the Constitution, to revamp it so Executive branch( replacing CM post with Governor giving complete Executive powers) is elected by people Directly. Legislative is elected separately, with Legislative has Impeachment powers to remove Corrupt Governors out of office. Governor also has certain powers so Legislative can not hijack the Executive branch of Government. Well, most people know this. This is how USA constitution is setup.

  16. Karunanidhi says he just owns one house in Chennai which he bought by penning story for 70 films. If that so, would ever Karunanidhi tell us how many stories does his sons Stalin, Alagiri, Muthu, Tamilarasu and daughters Selvi, Kanimozhi, 1st wife Dayalu and 2nd wife Rajathi other kith and kin wrote to own several properties (movable and immovable) in their respective names? Leaving out Maran’s dubious TV network business; let Karunanidhi tell also us what business/occupation his kith and kin carry on to amaze such massive wealth. We know his 1st wife is a home-maker, 2nd wife runs “snoozed furniture mart”, Muthu, Stalin, Alagiri, Selvi, Kanimozhi carries no profession/business; therefore they should explain the secret of acquiring huge and massive assets without having any avocation.
Anonymus citizen expects that this question should not be put to Karunanidhi and all politicians should be asked. This question shall apply to all politicians kith and kin but Let Karunanidhi be first to answer, since he being the senior-most ripen politician in the country.
