The attack on Thursday ( 2.10.2014, which was Gandhi Jayanti) on three African youths, Mapaga and Yohan from Gabon, and Guira from Burkina Faso, who received head and leg injuries, has disgraced our country.
A large crowd surrounded them at a Delhi police booth where they were beaten up, with security personnel nowhere to be seen. One of the 3 youths even climbed over the booth to save himself, but was pulled down by the crowd, and beaten up with the other two.
I am happy that the Government announced that there would be zero tolerance towards anyone targetting citizens of any nationality in India, and that strict action will be taken against the culprits.
