Today, 5th April, is Easter Sunday, the day on which Jesus Christ was said to have been resurrected after having been crucified on the Cross on Friday.
On this joyful occasion I send my Easter greetings to all my Christian brothers and sisters everywhere, particularly those in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. Though they are a small minority, Christians have made a great contribution to our sub continent in various fields, particularly in education, which is the most vital field for our nation's progress.
