Indian Journalists

Many of the top journalists in India have sold their souls to Mammon. They own huge bungalows, have huge bank balances, and have fancy chauffer driven cars. One is said to have aqcuired a huge house in Delhi reportedly worth Rs. 52 crores, another has a huge farm house near Delhi reportedly worth Rs. 50 crores.
Can one expect objectivity and fair reporting of the real problems of the people from them ? Was Gen. V.K. Singh wrong ?

  2. Katju,
I agree that journalists in India are just mercenaries. Likewise, you too seem to be an unscrupulous fellow as well, and not well educated. Unfortunately, India's corrupt judges (including yourself) aren't any better than its journalists.

  3. San, I agree with you that the Indian Justice system has failed people of this country, but how could you include Justice Katju in corrupt judges list? Don't talk without proof, pal.

    1. He's the product of a corrupt judicial system, buddy. He himself always speaks against others without proof, and yet you feel he's more deserving of the benefit of the doubt? Not only is Katju corrupt, but he speaks like a political demagogue. He represents the worst kind of politician - the unelected kind.

    2. I think you should be tolerant and decent while commenting on some one blog.Constitution has given us right to expression but that does not mean you can go on writing nonsensical things on someone blog ( without any proof). If you want to express your view open a personal blog and criticize him.

    4. India's judiciary is garbage - there's no way that people have trust in them - especially not after they usurped powers for themselves in a way that's completely at odds with all other civilized democracies. There is never any justification for judicial autarchy - it's fundamentally anti-democratic. No Supreme Court anywhere in the civilized developed world is able to pick its own judges, nor dismiss constitutional amendments. When the parliament has unanimously passed an amendment with the support of 20 states, then the court has absolutely no grounds for dismissing it. India's court justices are crooked buffoons by the standards of the civilized world.

  4. You're wrong Mr. Katju. Gen. V. K. Singh, Minister of State for External Affairs in Modi's BJP government, was disgraceful in referring to those precious dalit children who perished in that arson fire, as "dogs."
