Mir and Delhi

Humko ghareeb jaan ke, hans hans pukaar ke
Dilli jo tha ek sheher, aalam mein intikhaab
Rehte the muntakhib hi jahaan rozgaar ke
Usko falak ne loot kar veeraan kar diyaa
Hum rehne waale hain usi ujde dayaar ke "
