Urdu is perhaps the only language in the world in which it is just not possible to abuse someone. A Bombay boy may say "teri vaat laga dunga", a Delhiite or Bihari may say ' mai teri m.c. ( or b.c. ) dunga ', but an Aligarh boy would say "Hum aapki shaan mein gustakhi kar denge ".
I know of an elderly Urdu speaking gentleman in Allahabad ( my home town ) who once got very angry with someone over something ( which I do not remember ). He was livid with rage, but the only word of abuse ( if it can be called abuse at all ) which came out of his lips was " Nashukre "
