This is a progressive step for complete Womens' Emancipation ( see my blog ' On Womens Emancipation ' on justicekatju.blogspot.in ), and I welcome it.
The idiots who want to keep Muslim women backward and under a burqa deserve to be condemned as feudal relics. Feudal thinking and feudal customs like burqa have to be combated by all patriotic , modern minded people of all communities, and rooted out totally if India is to progress.
Muslim youth, particularly, should openly come out and condemn burqa and oral talaq, which keep the whole Muslim community in India ( and Pakistan and Bangladesh ) backward
We must follow the example of the great Turkish leader Mustafa Kemal Ataturk in this connection and ruthlessly strike down all backward customs and practices.
