It is reported that in an Income Tax raid at the Sector-51, Noida residence of Yadav Singh, former Engineer-in-Chief, Noida, Greater Noida and Yamuna Expressway, Rs.10 crore in cash was found in his Audi car (which is said to be worth Rs.90 lakhs), jewellery worth Rs.100 crore in his palatial house, etc.
The Income Tax raid is reported to have unearthed disproportionate assets of his family worth Rs.1,000 Crore. It is alleged that he had 250 plots of land, 40 fake companies in his wife's name, and that he was buying land at throwaway prices and selling them at the prevailing market price, etc.
