Lalit Modi and the affair of the diamond necklace
The affair of Lalit Modi ( see Arnab Goswamy's shows on the subject on Times Now channel ) reminds one of the affair of the diamond necklace in France in the reign of the French King Louis 16th.
Just as the latter contributed to the fall of the Bourbons and the French Revolution of 1789, the former may contribute to the fall of the present Govt. of India

  1. Can we talk about the prejudice caused to thousands of students who were denied the opportunity to appear for the IITJEE(Advanced Exams). IITs reduced the cut off in advance from 35% to 24.5% because they did not get the required number of students. On the face of it, this looks great, but it has prejudiced around 20000 students. IITs feel that a reserved category student can score 12.5% from -7% (yes -7%) but a general category student cannot score 24.5% even if he scored 29% in earlier exam (IIT mains). details sent on our email yahoo id.
