My advice to NRIs

Many NRIs in USA have discussed with me whether they should return to India, and I have strongly advised them not to, at least not until a genuinely patriotic and modern minded government is set up in India, which I guess will take about 15-20 years.

I tell them that they are living with their families comfortably here, with no problem ever of electricity, water, and other amenities. Their children are going to good schools. Everything is organized here. There is no garbage on the streets.

If they go to India, and wish to set up their own business, they will have to become corrupt, as one cannot do business in India without corruption.

The cities in India have become unliveable with the pollution, overcrowding, traffic jams, garbage piled everywhere, corruption at every level, power cuts, etc ( see my post ' Unliveable Indian cities ).
And things are going to get worse and very turbulent, as India is passing through a transitional period in its history ( see on Youtube my speeches at Berkeley and Stanford Universities and my blogs e.g.' India in Transition and Corrupt  ).

I may sound unpatriotic to some, but I must speak the truth.
