Condemn Vandalism
It is incidents like such vandalism which hurt me deeply.
Urdu is in my blood. It is the language of my ancestors, who were all very proficient in Urdu.
Urdu poetry is a shining gem in the treasury of Indian culture ( see my article ' What is Urdu ' on my blog justicekatju.blogspot.in and on the website kgfindia.com ). I believe that the best poetry in India is in Urdu ( though I respect all languages ).
The ignorant idiots who speak against Urdu, and the vandals who destroy Urdu books are the enemies of our country.
