When I was in Calcutta from 1969-1971 ( in a Solicitor's firm ) I joined a music school near Dum Dum where I was staying with an uncle, and learnt Rabindra Sangeet. My favourite song is given below. I still sing it sometimes. I sang it today on telephone from Vancouver, where I am presently staying, to Taslima Nasrin, who is in India. She was delighted to hear it.
