To those who ask me to enter politics my answer is :
(1) To enter politics I will have to become corrupt, because a lot of money is required to do politics in India,e.g. crores are required in an election, and tens, if not hundreds of crores, are required to run a political organization. I have no desire to become corrupt.
(2) In India politics is largely on the basis of caste and religious vote banks i.e. on feudal basis. I have no desire to appease feudal forces, rather I would like to see them destroyed for India's progress.
(3) Who will vote for me?Most Hindus will not vote for me because I have said that there is nothing wrong in eating beef, and most Muslims will not vote for me as I am opposed to the stupid customs of wearing a burqa or oral talaq. That leaves Sikhs, Christians, Parsis, Buddhists and Jains, who are collectively about 3-4% of india's population, and they may also not vote for me as I have said I am an atheist.
So I may end up getting only my vote, but even that may not happen as I do not vote !
