Patriots ! Do you know what gigantic task you are facing ? Here is a section of your countrymen.
You will not just have to change the physical shape of India. That is easy. What is immensely difficult is to change the mindset of your 1250 million ( 125 crore ) countrymen, who are mostly still steeped in feudal, backward thinking and customs, full of casteism, communalism, and superstitions, and feudal institutions like khap panchayats as in western U.P., Haryana, etc ,, katta panchayats as in Tamilnadu, and similar organizations elsewhere, which are often backed by political parties who rely on them as supplier of vote banks in the elections.
People are conservative by nature. Most Indians do not want to change their thoughts and practices, which are usually feudal and backward. Also, there are powerful vested interests which do not want India to change, as such change will endanger their own interests.
Do you have the courage, and are you prepared to take the risks and face the dangers of becoming a rebel, a fighter for your country ? Think carefully before you decide, because you will have nothing personally to gain, and much to lose personally. Then, and only then, step into the battle to modernize India
